AMC Kinetic type

This was an assignment from my Broadcast design course. We were to create a kinetic type promo for a horror movie marathon that would be taking place on AMC.

3D Beats Head phones

Beats head phones that I created in Maya then set up on a turntable with some simple lighting. I modeled a simpler version of the head phones for an animation I am doing, and decided go back and finish them.

Fruit and Wine

I wanted to make glass and liquid using techniques I learned online.  So I decided to make this classic art scene with fruit and a bottle of wine.

                                           

                                                                        

Daydreamin'

I wanted to create a scene using the objects I made for my last project. The result is Norman having a pleasant daydream with a happy little squid on his head.

When games attack!

                                                                              

This is my final animation project for the semester. I created this with a partner (Lorenzo Little) we split the animation in half, with him doing the first 20 seconds and me finishing the final 20 seconds. Together we created a storyboard of the animation. Then we recorded ourselves acting it out and used the video as a reference for our animation. The objects that I created in the animation are the TV, bookcase, night stand, desk lamp, dark brown desk, head phones and chair. The rest of the objects were modeled by my partner and together we figured out the lighting.

Excalibur my 20 second animation

 

This is a 20 second animation I created for my animation course. The theme I chose was Excalibur and some times the easiest solution lies in the simplest method.

Haiku

            

                                                                      

As part of my broadcast design course we were to take a Japanese haiku and create our own visual interpretation. The Haiku I chose to use is by Kobayashi Issa (1763-1827).

TV Show Promo

 

This is an imaginary TV show promo I created for my broadcast design course. The network I made up is called Animal Nation and the TV show I am promoting is when animals attack. I created the logo in illustrator and photoshop. The video was taken of off youtube and the rest was done in after effects.

10 second animation

This is my first animation with lip sync done in Maya. This was the first project of the semester.  I'm proud of the job I did on the lip sync, but my animation needs more holds. I think I did a good job for my first time.
